 Pilot dies at Madrid airshow

A PILOT has died after the historic jet he was flying exploded at an airshow in Madrid.
Experienced pilot, Ladislao Tejedor Romero, 35, died from his injuries after the plane plunged into a building in front of thousands of spectators.
Romero had successfully performed a series of stunts before the incident and the cause of the crash is still unknown.
The aircraft, a 60-year-old HA-200 Saeta, was one of the first jet propelled planes manufactured in Spain by Hispano Aviacion.
Three other people required medical treatment including one man, believed to be the pilot’s father, who suffered an anxiety attack.
Wreckage of the plane damaged several cars parked at the Cuatro Vientos airfield which lies just ten miles from the capital
