Looks Like Laughter Time : Ali Baba, Basketmouth, Others Perform As Glo Laffta Fest Returns

The proudly Nigerian telecom, Globacom, which marked its 10th anniversary recently, is set to enliven five cities with its hugely popular comedy, music and dance show, the Glo Laffa Fest in its renewed efforts to delight its subscribers.

In its sixth edition, the show, which kicks off on Sunday, May 26 in Benin City at the Bestwestern Hotel, will parade the best hands in the nation’s entertainment industry.

A statement issued in Lagos by the company on yesterday said the show would also be staged in Owerri, Imo State, on June 9, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on June 23, Abuja on July 7 and Lagos on July 21. Globacom said that the Glo Laffta Fest is coming in a re-invigorated form to suit the needs of its teaming subscribers across the country.

Artistes billed to perform at the Benin edition of the show include Basketmouth, I Go Die, Akpororo, Bovi, Oke Bakassi, Gordons and Dan D Humorous, from the comedy sector, while Flavour, Wande Coal and Lynxx will feature from the music industry. For the Owerri show, Basketmouth, I Go Die, Akpororo, Gordons, Funny Bone, Bovi, 2cantalk, Wande Coal, Naeto C and Omawunmi, are scheduled to entertain the audience.

Those that will perform at the Port Harcourt show are Okey Bakassi, Seyi Law, Basketmouth, Funny Bone and Akpororo while musicians such as MI, Bez, Burna Boy and Waje, will add flavor to the event. Basketmouth, Okey Bakassi, I Go Die, Gordons, Seyi Law, Akpororo and Funny Bone as well as Naeto C, Flavour, Bez and Chidynma, will feature at the Abuja edition.
For the Lagos show, Basketmouth, Ali Baba, Akpororo, Seyi Law, Bovi, Funny Bone, MI, Waje, Omawunmi and Burna Boy have been scheduled to perform.

There will also be special appearances and drama skits by Nollywood stars such as Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, Noso Diobi, Funke Akindele and Odunlade Adekola as part of the entertainment package for the audience.
